This policy explains how Edgrow Staffing Solutions LLP ("EdGrow", "we", "us") handles personal data when you use our website, register as a candidate or institution, or use our recruitment services. We process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law.
1. Data we collect
- Candidates: name, contact details, date of birth, location, qualifications, work history, subjects, salary details, preferences, your CV and any documents you choose to share.
- Institutions: institution details, contact person, vacancy details and feedback on candidates.
- Website use: pages visited and device information through cookies and Google Analytics, and security data used to block spam.
2. How we use it
- To create and manage your account.
- To match candidates with vacancies, share shortlisted profiles with hiring institutions, and coordinate interviews and joining.
- To send you application updates, interview details, reminders and job alerts by email, in your account, or on WhatsApp.
- To verify documents, prevent fraud and keep our services secure.
- To prepare anonymous reports on our recruitment activity.
3. Reading CVs automatically
When you upload a CV, we use an AI service (Anthropic's Claude) to read it and pre-fill your profile. The CV is sent securely for this purpose only and is not used to train AI models. You can edit everything before saving.
4. Who we share data with
- Hiring institutions: only for a specific vacancy, and only the profile details needed to assess you. Institutions may not pass your data on.
- Service providers: hosting (Cloudflare), email delivery and analytics providers who process data on our instructions.
- Authorities: when required by law.
We do not sell personal data.
5. How long we keep it
We delete CVs 12 months after your last profile update unless you renew them. Account data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your CV or your account at any time.
6. Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data, withdraw consent, and nominate someone to exercise your rights. Most of this you can do from your account. For anything else, or to raise a grievance, email info@edgrow.org and we will respond within 30 days.
7. Security
Accounts are protected by hashed passwords and secure sessions. CVs are stored privately and can only be opened by you, EdGrow recruiters, and institutions you have been shortlisted for.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in, and analytics cookies to understand how the website is used. You can block analytics cookies in your browser.
